Hi there! If we haven’t met, I’m Jenn… a family photographer in the Walnut Creek area. (Although a few of my favorite locations are in Martinez, Hercules, Concord and in between!)
I’m so excited to be re-launching my family photography business this year in Walnut Creek (and the East Bay!) I’m going to be really focusing on working with families with young kids (bring on all the toddlers!) as well as working with families who are welcoming new babies into their home with lifestyle newborn sessions! As a family photographer in Walnut Creek, there are SO many beautiful family friendly locations. And I can’t wait to share them with you. My goal is to take you to a location where you can play with your family… and let me photograph those interactions!
This year I’m getting back to what I love… I want new moms to see how beautiful their families are… all the in between moments… all the imperfect times… I’m a mom of two toddlers myself and that has absolutely changed how I see things… Parenthood is the most challenging, beautiful thing. I absolutely love getting to know my families and learning about what makes their stories unique. On the other hand, I also understand how challenging it is and how badly we want to make things perfect. That’s why I’m here to help you get gorgeous family photos with the lease possible stress!

Welcome to 2023, Walnut Creek families – I can’t wait to photograph your family!
Jenn Chen is a family, maternity and newborn photographer in the Walnut Creek area. While she works with families of all sizes, she specializes in working with young children and toddlers (she has a 2 and 4 year old of her own!). Jenn has been photographing families since 2017 but has had a passion for photography since she was a child. Jenn has a photography studio in downtown Martinez which is currently open for newborn sessions and children’s portraits.
Jenn is a member of NAPCP and as of 2024 was recognized as a “Master of Family Photography” based on her current portfolio. Jenn is also a member of Nikon Professional Services.
